Our Mission and Purpose
We are now taking application for the Eighth Annual Lansing Gluten Free Fair. Our mission is to increase awareness of gluten related disorders and highlight businesses and organizations that specifically cater to those needs. Vendors are expected to have products that are 100% gluten free, not containing wheat, rye or barley. We invite you and/or your organization to apply to be a vendor. In past years we have averaged over 500 people, and we hope to reach more this year with greater advertising methods.
Here are the event particulars:
Date: Saturday October 22nd 2016
Time: 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
Location: Ramada Inn, 7501 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917
Cost: $100 per table space, plus any applicable fees or deductions.
A recent survey showed that 30% of the population is searching for gluten free products. Our event puts your business in direct connection to those buyers whom are turning the gluten free market into a $4 billion dollar worldwide industry. Our event is a great way to get samples in the hands or prospective individual buyers as well as selling to them directly. An estimated 90% of attendees purchased one or more items at our event last year
Attending our event can also help you network with corporate buyers. Through our event last year, a Chicago company had their product picked up and carried in a local market, thus expanding their distribution area. Representatives from area stores are expected to be in attendance again this year.
As soon as we receive your application, we will review it and contact you to confirm your space at our event. Please know that we reserve the right to accept or decline applications, based on event necessities, at our sole discretion. Once you have consented to the vendor agreement and we have received your payment, we will add your name to the vendors on our website and our Facebook page. In addition we will publish your name in our newsletter which has a readership of 300 people and is exchanged with other groups throughout the United States.
During the fair we will have three large door prizes, but we encourage individual vendors to run giveaways at their own tables. This allows you to gain contact information to further promote your product to attendees, as well as cut down on announcements and interruptions during the fair. If you inform us that you intend to run a giveaway at your table, we will highlight that on our webpage.
